Public Power Week and Public Natural Gas Week are celebrated nationally the first full week in October every year. We are excited to announce an upcoming series of events we've planned to show appreciation to our customers, celebrate the benefits of public utilities, and highlight the essential services we provide and maintain.
As a public utility, we are able to provide reliable, affordable, locally controlled services and reinvest in our community — our home.
The Western Division event will be held on the greenspace behind the Whispering Pines Office from 3-5 p.m. on October 8, 2024. The Eastern Division event will be held in the front parking lot of the East Laurel Office from 3-5 p.m. on October 10, 2024. We invite our customers, employees, and their families to hang out for a bit, grab a slice of pizza, and learn a bit more about public utilities.
We'll have pizza, popcorn, drinks, RU merch, and a Touch-A-Truck display. Please join us in making these events memorable!
